Chef Gautam Chitra Lal is known for his creativity and knowledge of regional indian cuisine with his forte in Indian curry & tandoori . As the Indian Chef of THE CENTAUR HOTEL (1983 - 1987) India, NATIONAL SPORTS CLUB OF INDIA (1987 - 1989) India, LE MERIDIEN (1989 - 1992 ) India, he was well appreciated beacause of the originality in taste, creativity & sincerity towards his job.
After years of experience in Indian cooking, he moved towards Hong Kong to provide his expertise in 1992. He worked in various Indian Restaurants in Hong Kong including the famous The Curry Pot Indian Restaurant and Curry Tiffin Indian Restaurant. He has been working as an executive chef at "NEW CURRY POT Indian Restaurant" since its establishment. His cooking is liked by local chinese and foreigners who love authentic Indian food.
